The article presents the author's strategy of designing utility forms, used in the didactic process as part of the classes conducted in the field of Interior Architecture at the Poznań University of Technology. The article describes the course of exercises, the results of the implementation of the design strategy using the concept of lateral thinking and the author's associative design scheme.
