On 24th of September 2023, a law will come into force, which will change not only this law but almost 50 other laws as well. The amendment brings with it a revolution in the system of spatial planning acts and planning procedures. The amending law contains numerous transitional provisions. They decide on the fate of existing conditions studies and directions of spatial development and local planning plans. They also determine, depending on the stage of the planning procedure, the procedure for processing those documents to which they have acceded but have not been able to adopt them before the date of entry into force of the amendments.
