The article presents the issues of integrating art and technology in shaping public spaces on the example of design projects elaborated at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology, at the Chair of Urban Design and Rural Landscape. The main objective of the research presented in the article is to identify and analyse contemporary design solutions concerning the composition of public spaces in the right relationship with technology in the field of material solutions and methods of their use, projects with a high degree of technological advancement and pro-ecological solutions. The research focuses on projects developed during the courses: Elements of Urban Composition, Diploma projects (engineering studies) and Urban Design – City centre (master's degree studies).
