residents of small towns In the modern health care system, the provision of health security plays a key role not only for keeping the population healthy, but also for its development. The Primary Health Care System in Poland is the foundation of the health care system and it is also the main element that shapes the level of health security. The innovations that are currently being introduced into the medical services market are largely based on modern information technologies. Teleportation is a very popular and frequently used form of health service provided by the POZ in the modern health care system, and they allow remote medical assistance to be provided via modern ICT. They are a valuable solution that strengthens the level of health security of Poles, especially residents of small towns. The purpose of this article is to assess the importance of teleporads in health security and health care for residents of small towns. This article is of an introductory nature and the literature analysis carried out in it is based on selected book publications, as well as scientific articles in the fields of management, security, law and medical science.
