ABSTRACT
This article discusses the mutual corelation of function and form of contemporary architecture with energy conditions and potential of new technologies in buildings. The article presents an introduction to further interdisciplinary research aiming at defining the potential of the building of the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering Management as a facility supporting energy performance of the whole campus of the University of Technology located directly by the Warta river in Poznań.
