ABSTRACT
In recent times, we can see an increase in interest in military heritage. Fortifications, which until recently were considered unattractive for tourists, are currently very popular. The aim of revitalization is to bring the degraded part of the city back to life and supplement it with new functions, i.e. introducing such changes that will make life, stay and work better. Its aim is to integrate cultural goods into the social organism by recreating its old functions or giving it new ones, thanks to which it will be able to exist in the spatial, economic and social sphere. Revitalization also means working with the local community. It should be run in such a way that the monument does not lose its potential, and even shows aesthetic, scientific and historical values, creating new places for work and recreation.
