ABSTRACT
The report presents conclusions relating to the role of multimedia elements in shaping contemporary exhibitions. The development of technology and the opportunities offered by these media has resulted in a significant increase in the share of multimedia presentations in exhibition arrangements. The main field of interest is to examine how the relation between the exhibit and its multimedia environment is treated. This may result in new, significant requirements for the exhibition spaces in terms of technology and space.
