The essay presents the preliminary results of research conducted by students of Faculty of Architecture of Poznań University of Technology. During a query of Berlin galleries and museums, they observed the behavior of eldery people in them, assessed the availability of
museum buildings and accompanying public spaces, and the facilities used in them. The Altes and Neues Museum, Pergamon Museum, Deutsche Historische Museum, JamesSimon-Galerie, Judische Museum and Berlinische Galerie were queried.
