As part of scientific research at the Department of Drawing, Painting, Sculpture and Visual Arts, and then at the Institute of Interior Architecture and Industrial Design of the Faculty of Architecture of the Poznan University of Technology, research in the area of the re-search task: Artwork in architecture has been conducted for several years. The relation-ships between the exhibited artworks and the architecture of various types of interiors: modern, post-industrial and historic were examined. In the above article, as part of the research task titled Various forms of artistic expression in the exhibition context, the au-thor focuses on the impact of the architecture of exhibition interiors on the way the same works of his own authorship are displayed in various galleries in Poland offering different exhibition rooms. The above article describes the author's efforts when organizing individ-ual exhibitions of paintings and painting objects in various rooms in order to comply with the artist's ideological and artistic assumptions. At the end of the article, a summary of the research conducted is presented.
