Suburbanization of large cities brings with it many risks and negative consequences for suburban zone. Poznań and its adjacent municipialities are one of the best studied examples of it. It is believed that the Poznań agglomeration is a place where the processes associated with the migration of population, businesses and capital are particularly dyna-mic. However, this phenomenon does not necessarily apply only to the neighboring muni-cipalities of Poznań, which are traditionally referred to as the periphery. Some of its symp-toms are also noticeable in communes located farther away, but which remain within the sphere of influence of the core city. Sucha n example is Pobiedziska. The article shows that typical apsects of suburbanizaion are noticeable in Pobiedziska. Article shows examples of its negative impact on spatial order in places where development is based on administra-tive decisions. At the same time, good practices were pointed out. Increasing the coverage of local spatial development plans, or the protection of agricultural and forest land plans and the positive effects of their implementation.
