ABSTRACT
One feasible method for shaping spatial arrangements in urban planning, architecture and interior architecture entails multiplication of elements. Its harmony stems from compositional cohesion between each and every element put to use by the architect: proportions, divisions, building materials, textures, gloss levels, reflections and refractions, transparency and finally spatial forms as well as luminaires. Fascinating, even theatrical light and shadow plays are the foundation of well-designed architectural interiors. With appropriately designed day and night light arrangements they add artistic quality akin to that of a piece of art or an art installation. This article explores modular scenographies for container interiors constructed out of natural and artificial light and designed by female students at Poznań University of Technology's Faculty of Architecture.
