ABSTRACT
The article details the rehabilitation and aesthetic modernisation of a modernist villa built in 1932 and situated on the edge of Pozna's "Abisynia" modernist district. The structure was never finished because of historical circumstances, and it is still unknown what it looked like from the outside when it was first constructed. As a result, the procedure combines the rebuilding process with research hypotheses regarding the planned form of the structure. The authors decided to create a unique research method because there were insufficient source materials and the described set of accepted research methods was inadequate. This approach, also known as the catalogue of features, was used in the effort to rebuild the villa. This approach, also known as the catalogue of features, was used in the effort to rebuild the villa. The developed catalogue and study methodology revealed 67% and 19%, respectively, conformance with design proposal (A) and (B), respectively. Considering the results, concept (B) was discarded while concept (A) was enhanced to an 86% level. The article's summary points out the advantages of statistical research methods over more conventional approaches to studying historical architecture.
