The mural, which is defined as a large-format mural in the urban space, with a concrete message and a rich tradition, fits into a wide range of sculptural and expressive searches of so-called street art. In his form, but with other tools, he was to construct an image of the city on an equal footing with architectural solutions and to help shape its climate. The aim of the article is to follow the achievements in this field of selected examples of the realization in the public space of Bydgoszcz, together with their formal analysis and their importance for the construction of an individualized urban structure.
